Autodesk's Interesting Marketing & Sales Practices

After receiving a promotional email form Autodesk, on September 28, 2016 I subscribed and set-up a new 2 year Fusion360 Basic Support.  Now with just several months usage of the 2 year subscription I am receiving emails from Autodesk saying my current license is expiring on  December 09, 2016 and they want to make me aware of my options to continue using Fusion 360!  Say What!  I have removed Autodesk 360 and refuse to further interaction with this product and this rip-off company.......  I will place and advocate on my website, and elsewhere my personal disatisfaction of Autodesk's marketing and sales practices....  Good-Bye

@Anonymous It sounds like there may be an issue with your order syncing. I'll escalate a support request to the e-store team to investigate the issue.

Please note that you should be able to log into manage.autodesk.com and see the subscription entitlment listed in your account. If you don't see it there, you may want to verify that that purchase is under the correct e-mail address.

Did you receive a confirmation e-mail after the purchase? If so, can you forward it to nathan.chandler@autodesk.com

I apologize for any confusion or inconvenience this issue caused. I look forward to any questions or concerns you may have.

Thanks,

Over one incorrect email? Oookay. Clearly its a mistake that an email to support or a simple post on this forum would correct without losing the plot.

@Anonymous It looks like you have multiple licenses. You have a free 1 year start-up license that is set to expire on 12/7/2016, which is why you are receiving notifications. The 2 year subscription does show up in your account. You should find the subscription in your Autodesk Account page. I note that you can assign the subscription to a user there, see the below FAQ for more info.

If you would like any help with this, please let us know. We are happy to help.

Thanks,

Shouldn't you write some sort of computer code that checks for these instances and supresses pointless reminder e-mails about their free license expiring?

Without knowing the purpose of the multiple licenses, I don't think it is possible to presume the notification pointless. Either way in this case, the confusion appears to be about which license is expiring. Visiting the Autodesk Accounts page should help to clear this confusion up. If there are any questions, please let me know. I am happy to help.

Thanks,
