Autodesk inventor file export from fusion 360 possible and if so how

Maybe silly question but seems it was possible once but (?) not now.

No, unfortunately, today, Fusion does not support Inventor export, only import.

You could always use export to STEP or SAT.  When you bring it into Inventor, it can be edited using the Direct Editing commands.

You can export Inventor 2014 files through A360 but not directly in Fusion 360. Not sure if history is captured when bringing it into Inventor but history is lost when bringing a .iam into Fusion 360.
