Autodesk Academic Partner (AAP) and "Product Design Extension"

Dear Autodesk Fusion 360 Forum Members,

I am an AAP educator seeking clarification on the pricing of the "Product Design Extension" for AAP educators and their students. Does the extension require payment for AAP members, and if so, are there any available discounts?

Your assistance in providing this information would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Kirk, thanks for getting in touch. Education users (educators and students) get free access to the Product Design Extension and can access using the normal process - extensions menu in the top right. FYI this access is for 30 days then it will need to be reactivated every 30 days that the user wishes to keep using the extension. 

With regards to yourseld being an AAP you are using a different license type. The Autodesk Authorized Partner (AAP) Program Agreement provides permitted use of AAP-issued licenses, which are ordered from the partner’s Regional Autodesk Learning Partner Distributor.  All Autodesk Learning Partners, including AAPs, are required to order their program licenses from their regional Learning Partner Distributor directly. If the partner does not know who their Distributor is they can look up the Distributor who manages our Learning Partner business in their country here:
