AutoCAD to Fusions - pline - spline issues

I have a bunch of guitar designs in AutoCAD and I would like to use them as backgrounds to develop fusion models.  When I insert the dwg files some of the lines come in fine, while others do not.  Namely splines and plines. Also the Fusion file is very unstable.  I assume it is the number of segments in the splines or plines?  What is the best way to  bring these files into Fusion so I can use them as a background and sketch using "project" to select faces to extrude?  Thanks.  Regards Peter.

Hi @HughesTooling,

If you still have your design lying around, can you share it here?  I agree, it seems like something is creating lots of copies of that spline.  I'm not sure why.  But, I'd like to start with your original sketch and see if I can reproduce it.

[edit].  Never mind - I can reproduce it.  But, I have to have "Auto project edges on reference" turned on.  What seems to be happening is that if this is on, you get a copy of the spline underneath for each point on the spline you create in sketch 2.

@jeff_strater Actually I have that setting disabled and I still get a lot of copies. I've attached my F3D file made in the screencast below. The DXF I used is the one I uploaded in post#9, attached here as well..

Thanks, @HughesTooling.  Then, it looks like that option is not working!  Because you are not supposed to be able to reference curves in another sketch with this option turned off, so you should not be able to snap to those curves.  I'll take a closer look.
