Auger flight flat pattern

Hi guys,

First post here. Please be gentle.

I am trying to convert from Inventor to Fusion and now I am stuck at creating a flat pattern for a screw conveyor auger. I can draw it similar to how I did it in Inventor - by creating a surface loft between two coils (instead of spirals) and thicken it but when I try to convert into sheet metal it fails. Fusion "can't calculate body thickness".

Any advise? Screenshot from Inventor below.

It's attached under the inventor image. Attaching it here as well.

Yep, it was my mistake!
I have checked the sheet metal issue, and I couldn't do it as well. So I tried another twisted shape and it didn't either, so I'm guessing it's either a bug or a limitation.

Slept on the problem, overnight I remembered this one,

Meshmixer fix

Message 2, will get you there, I think.

Edit; Worked for me, tip - extrude the plate in Mesh Mixer, so the there is thickness to section with fit curves to section back in Fusion....

Might help....
