Yeah, that looks like a bug. I'll report it and get it fixed. It looks like it is only the YZ origin plane that has this problem - the rest seem to behave OK.

the problem is not only that, on a mac when you attach a canvas or try to ad a decal ig et very strange black image and all colour do strange things.
BUT no image as a result.
i have not tried it yet on a pc.

Hi, This is a known issue we observed on few specific Mac machines and we are working on the fixes right now. One potential workaround is when you run the decal command, don't pre-select any face; instead first select the texture, and then select the face. You may try it on your side to see if it works.
