Switching from Sketchup to Fusion. The components along the axle are a retaining ring, a washer and a McMaster Carr bushing. The white bushing is the only component that rotates. A block of wood supports the axle (not shown, it is to the right) and the back of that block is the main reference point. A simplified sketchup pict is below.
In Fusion, the three components on the axle are tied to the parameter "ballPathInput" (it's a rolling ball sculpture) OR "ballPathMain". The goal is to have one axle assembly, copy and paste new and simply use whichever parameter is appropriate.
What is the best workflow to accomplish this? I've tried a sketch with construction lines but the components don't move if the ball path changes. Best I've come up with is using a revolute joint between the circles on the sketch and the bushing. Bushing, ring and washer need to move as a group. Can't seem to make that happen either!
