You have red errors in your timeline.  Fix those before attempting to do anything else in the file.

As far as the screencast goes: Turn on capture keyboard events and also explain what you think is the problem.

My explanation: you click here, interrupt the recording and then click again somewhere.

The sense of the clicks is not visible in the picture and not given by a comment.

I want the elements marked in red to be one element/body/how you call it.

I select three elements under the battery, then selecting the entire bottom in the side view.

When I mark the bottom, some "roof" appears at the very top.
