Arc Sweeping Problem

So I'm trying to design a tension coil and I'm struggling with Fusion360's "Sweep" function. I've created an arc from the coil and when I select the path to sweep, Fusion360 sweeps along a circle path that doesn't exist. When I change the arc to a different degree, there is no issue. But when it's just the way that I want it... Fusion360 is all like, "Oh!!! You want me to add random bits to your design? I think this would look cool!" Then it makes my design look stupid and not functional.

Anyway, I've attached a screenshot of what it's doing. Anyone know why it's doing this and how to make it stop and listen?

Many thanks!

You may want to share the model (export as .f3d and attach  post).

I cannot reproduce this, but your workflow might be different.

Is there a way to save a selection and post it in here? I'm not legally allowed to share the full project file...
