Applying thickness?

Stopped using FreeCad, so in the process of learning Fusion 360.

Trying to apply thickness.  My model is a sketch, extruded.  Does this only applies to a solid and not sketches?

questions that i want to apply:

1. apply 2mm thickness. Keeping all sides solid

2. same as 1. above, but includes the bottom face.

1.  Try using Modify > Shell, set wall thickness to 2 mm.

2.  select the body to Shell from Browser list, and it will not remove any faces in the function.

@g-andresen Wow, that was easy.  Got to look at all the menus and absorb each function.  I need to add more to this model;

1. rails on each side

2. dove tail  on the bottom

3. a lid to slide into dove tail.   The lid will have circuit board.

4. another component the body to slide into for adjustment.

so I'm sure will have more questions.
