Any more quick reference cards out there????

So I recently asked why my line colors are not as everyone (Lars included) claimed they should be.  One super awesome respondent posted the answer in the form of a picture of a quick reference card he got from Autodesk.  I have attached it below.

This card is super helpful.  Knowing what the colors are was one thing, but to have a better clue at to the point meanings was a bonus.

So my question to the community, and to Autodesk;  Do you have any more of these things that you would share?  Maybe on Joints, tool path strategies, ICONS, Decorators (little things next to the icons).  The more the merrier.

@Anonymous

I'm attaching three file types for the line card you show.

We are thinking about this! Thanks.

Also attached is a PDF from an Autodesk University class on Joints. Please take a look. It's a lot more than a card, but hopefully your questions are answered there.

Regards,

@Phil.E There seems to be some discrepancies with point colouring, See image below.

First discrepancy, the 2 lines at right angles from the origin. The vertical line endpoint is unconstrained so "Free" is correct, the horizontal line is fully constrained so seems like it is not free and the endpoint should be black.

Second. The four lines share endpoints but doesn't show as stacked also the 2 concentric circles. If you draw a line from the circle centre points or a circle at the end point of the four lines you get a black point. Seems odd it's only stacked if the points are from different types of geometry.

Also guess there should be a projected point in the list as well, like the one at the origin.

Thanks for noticing. There are a few inconsistencies. It's hard to make a 3 or 4 mode color scheme fit the variability of a CAD modeler.

The four lines intersecting, that is being treated as a shared point. I'm guessing the dual circles center is not the same as line end points.

In any case, thanks for pointing it out. When we get around to tuning up the sketch UI again this can be looked at more deeply.
