Any Mac users having Retina scaling issues?

Hi, trying to find good info/advice regarding MacBook Pro Retina screen issues. I'm currently in the process of getting a new laptop, was gonna go PC but I'd prefer Mac as that's what I've used for yrs. I just really wanna know if there are many cases of Retina display scaling issues. I've ran across quite a few threads on these forums about that being a problem. I know 4K/UHD displays aren't supported, are Retina displays? In several of the threads I'm referring to, the lower resolution scaling (believe that's the correct term, idk) options didn't fix the Retina's blurriness/poor Window/Menu visibility. In other words, the scaling options seemed to make no difference. These threads varied from 2015-2018i believe. Big question: are any Mac users currently having these problems? Or have they been fixed in an update? I know ya can't use fusion 360 at the full resolution of the Retina displays, do the scaling options still make fusion blurrier than say a typical 1080p? In other words, using fusion 360 on a Retina display, which has the low resolution scaling options turned on.....would it have worse resolution/clarity vs a typical Full HD 1080p? Again I'm trying to find a great laptop that, in addition to typical use, it can handle Fusion fairly well. I'm looking at this 2015-2016 MacBook Pro as an option:

For PC I'm looking at this one:

Essentially I want a high quality laptop with the best display I can get for @$2000. I need the display to be color accurate as well b/c I will be using for photo stuff as well. As I said, I'd prefer a Mac b/c that's what I've used for yrs. Any advice/help would really be appreciated, thanks.

I have a 2017 15” MacBook Pro with Touchbar and Retina display and Radeon Pro 560 and have zero scaling problems. That is using the builtin display. I’ve not used this with external monitors.

Thanks so much for the reply! Just trying to make sure this isn't a widespread issue before I buy one. Btw, have u had to apply scaling due to using a Retina's resolution? Have u noticed any cons to Fusion on a Mac vs PC, any big differences? One last question: I'll be using fusion 360 to make (well try to anyways) scale model replicas. I'm interested in using photogrammetry software to recreate the actual movie prop models in the process. I saw there's Autodesk Recap, but it's not available for Mac. Isn't there an Autodesk cloud service for uploading pics to generate a 3D model that will work with PC and Mac? Thanks so much.

I am not aware of big differences between Win and macOS as it pertains to Fusion 360.. The UI is the same.

I cannot answer the photogrammetry question.
