Another Issue Fully Defining a Sketch

Hello,

I am having another issue fully defining a sketch.  I have everything but two lines - one at the top and one at the bottom - fully defined.  I attached the original sketch for reference.  The hole in the middle is .125", but not indicated on the drawing.  Also, the part will receive further machining, such as counter-sinking the top and bottom holes, once it has been cut on the waterjet.

Thanks,

Marty

One of the easiest method of finding a missing sketch constraint or missing sketch dimension is, while in the sketch, left click on an entity and drag it.  You will then see what is wrong.  In my Screencast I did just this.  After awhile, you will not have to do this as you will see your required constraints or dimensions.  In the meantime, drag away!

By the way, your file is not a "drawing".  It is a "sketch" in a "model".  A drawing is the 2D file that you would print on a piece of paper.  Terminology will help you get better responses and understanding.

Fusion has not be told what angle the plate covers, you are not using symmetry for those two lines, or the rest of the sketch, so many duplicate dimensions

Any dimension of the angle, to the centre line fixes it.

Might help...

Thank you.  Your suggestion worked!  I was able to fully constrain the sketch.  I appreciate your suggestion to drag items to help discover what constraints are lacking.
