Animation - Using Same Component than Once

I am working with a direct modeling with a large multi assembly/component design file.

1. REUSE OF COMPONENT

Is there a method to use the same component(s) more than once in the same animation?

I do not want to create more components or damage my already large design file just to create the animation. I have read a suggestion to create and save a new empty design file, then from the Data Panel select the main design and use Insert in to Current Design. This will create a copy to work with. Exported the extra components that you want to have multiple instances of and import them in to the design file that you will use for the animation. Sounds nice not sure how error free that would be.

2. COPY TIMELINE TO NEW FILE

If the process above works, with the most recent Fusion version, can the animation timeline be copied from the original design file to the new design file for the animation?

Thank you for your posting! 

I think its almost the enhancement issues. Could you submit your good idea to Ideastaton? If you can share your post I would like to vote it as well. 

And the second question, it seems that the Copy and Paste can only use the same design. 

but I think it will be possible if you use "Save as" instead of copy and paste. (but I think you have your own procedure so if it's not, please request a new function in Ideastation)

I would like to add to the Idea Station but I am under pressure to get as much material completed and rendered as possible before my Fusion Unlimited license expires next month. I would like to renew but our project funding has been delayed. Timera Hart was supporting the animation function previously. She may also appreciate the areas for improvements for the program, if she is still on that team.
