Animating Joints

I've been experimenting with joints after being asked to recreate a project in Fusion.  Initially, all I'm trying to do is create the right types of joints to get the component Connector to swing around the component Rod in tandem with the two Arm components.  I grounded the Rod, and each of the arms swing around the rod, but even with rigid joints between the arms and the connector, nothing swings in unison.

I'd appreciate it if someone can point out the flaw in my design.

TIA

You asked what was wrong with your model to prevent the arms from moving together with the end bar attached.  I did a quick video to show you the problem.  You also need to read about Rule #1 for Fusion 360 modeling.

Hi John,

Thanks much for the quick video - I understand completely.  The file I included was put together very quickly ( obviously ) based on the project I'm really working on.  Yes, in the "real" project, I do want things centered but for the purposes of the example, I didn't care but I should have.  I DO care that I missed lining up the holes - that's what happens when you hurry.

Again, I appreciate the feedback and solution.  Thanks!
