Angled Planes and Getting Smooth Connections?

I am unsure how to exactly describe this in the title so I will try to be a little bit more detailed here.

I have a fan shroud that I am making (different from a previous one I posted about). Its simplest description is that it consists of a flat face and has a back that is angled (25 degrees) up, and has three other faces that go from the flat face to that back on their own angles (planes are based on lines and points).

My issue (noted in close2 attached) is that I can't exactly figure out the way to have smooth corners as there is always extra areas that didn't quite mesh right. It almost seems like I could use an "extrude distance but don't go beyond this face" option.

Overall1 (attached) shows the general shape of the part with the air output showing.

Any thoughts would be helpful.

Will this get you closer?  Your Last extrude finishing higher, and cutting the top down to the existing edges.

If it were me after the 2nd Extrude the I would Loft Sketch 6 to Sketch 7.  This will provide a clean exterior top block, and then you work out the internal duct shape from there.

Might help....

I agree with the approach of working out the interior after creating the outer shape.  this object looks like it would be easiest to accomplish by extruding from three sides for the primary body. see attached.

@davebYYPCU I am not sure how you loft from two sketches, you can't actually select them.

@laughingcreek This goes to show somebody is thinking a few steps above me. I don't even think in terms of intersections, but this is certainly giving me things to think about. It looks absolutely perfect. I think mostly in terms of cuts and joins.

Really?

Loft works between two or more sketches,

solid loft will need shaded blue profile in each sketch,

surface loft can be from any article in a sketch.

Might help....
