Aligning and moving issues

Hi Everyone.  I am pretty new to fusion but learning quickly.  I notice that i have a problem if i design a body and try to move it to a certain location.  If i use the move or align tool and select to move to point it shows the body moved but as soon as i hit OK it goes back to its original location.  Is this because the location its being moved to (the node) is on a different component? Does the part only able to move to select nodes within its own component ?  Here is what i am trying to do.  I am drafting up a front suspension / frame rails and when trying to locate the upper control arm busing in an exact spot it doesn't always let me.  I created a separate component for all my layout rectangle boxs to place tubing in a specific XYZ ordinate.

Here is the A360 file so you can see what i am talking about.  The rectangles in the middle are located on specific xyz locations and trying to place that round part on one of the nodes on the rectangle.  The rectangles are located in another component.

Sorry for all the redundancy in my post

I don't  think the setting on for your link is set to public.  can you attach your .f3d file here instead? (export it from the file menu to your hardrive)
