Can someone help with this. Here is a fixture for drilling holes at an angle. I have tons of parts that I want to use on this fixture. Now the problem I need to align 2 points and a face and dont know how. I will post a picture to show what I mean. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In this picture the face is already aligned now I need to constrain the OD of the gear to the 2 yellow points.

Hi,

This should be solved with joints.

Joint

the.Centre of the gear,

to the centre of a circle coincident to the two yellow points.

use the offset tool in the joint dialogue for height off the face.

Might help….

The best way I have found was to sketch a circle matching the gear OD on the face of the fixture. Then rigid join the gear and the table with the sketch as the point? Does this seem  like the best way.

If you have different size gears, you will have different circles to use.

In a workshop, you just place a gear on two pegs and clamp it, so not sure what you are asking.
