Align Import STP to Plane

I can not figure out the workflow for the following

Problem:  uploaded a STP file but it is not aligned to the origin and I can't figure out how to align it.

Uploaded a STP file to Fusion 360.

It comes in as an Assembly of many components

It is rotated in relation to the origin and I want to align to the origin.

I can Align a single component of the assembly, but I can not figure out how to Align the Assembly (all of the components)

Creating a Rigid Group of all the imported components should do it for you.  Take a look at the screencast.

I tried something similar many hours ago.

I followed you screen cast on a beat up model it worked.

Uploaded the model fresh and keep getting the "No alignment ... could be found" error.

Restarted Fusion 360.  Low and behold it works everytime now.
