Adding square tabs inside round object

Hi,

I am have learned a lot from the forums here but I am stumped trying to add "tabs" on the inside of a ring. Apologies if I am using the wrong terminology. I am creating a light bezel to replace a broken/discontinued part. I've managed to create the bezel and after 3D printing the dimensions are good. I need to add 3 "tabs" to the inside face. The tabs are roughly 3x1.5x1.5mm and 120 deg apart. The bezel is held on to the light housing by these tabs. It's a push and then turn to attach fitment. Added f3d and jpg for reference below.

One approach, not the only one.

1. Offset a plane to the level where you want the tabs to be.
2. Create a sketch on that plane, and make a circle of a diameter that will overlap the bezel at that point, then draw a tab to the dimensions you want. You may need to project the bezel to find the center if it isn't referenced to other geometry. 
3. Extrude a tab to the proper depth as a new body.
4. Use the Create Pattern- Circular Pattern tool to pattern the tabs at the 120° angle, referenced to the center point on the sketch. Then Combine the tabs (join) into the bezel. 

You can also do a pattern in the sketch and extrude-join al the tabs at once, but sketch patterns can be somewhat problematic so I tend to avoid them and pattern in the solid environment. For more complex things it's easier to draw once, then pattern.
