Adding existing bodies to new components

Cannot move bodies into newly created components.

Created six new bodies by copying 2 new bodies (1 sphere, 1 cylinder) See Image 1.

Created 3 new blank components. See Image 2.

How to get new bodies into new components??? See image 3. Tried drag/drop - no luck.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Hi @Anonymous,

Please follow R.U.L.E #1 and it will sove your problem. OR, when creating a new body, choose Component from the Operation drop down menu.

Cheers / Ben

Ben,

Thanks for the quick reply.

So, what I'm gathering from RULE #1 (I'm a nube at Fusion) is that I need to create three new components, activate each in turn, then create two new bodies in each of those components individually (thus tripling my efforts in this case)?

Correct, and every time you work on a component, you must activate it. This why everything that's relate to that perticulave component, will be kept inside that component.
You are welcome to check out the bellow video link. I hope it will help you to understand Fusion a bit better:
