Adding dimensions to conic curves

Anonymous
Not applicable

I am used to work with Creo and conic curves are my most used curves to create complex shapes. I can dimension the curvature itself (which can also be one in fusion360) but I also need to dimension the beginning and end angles of the curve, which I have not fount out how to do in fusion360.

Any clues on how to do it?

I don't think this can currently be done.

What is the formula for calculating the angles?

Please dismiss my first reply!.

When I first tried this out I was looking for something like the tangent handles we have in splines. Conic curves don't have these.

However, you can draw a short construction line on each end and apply a tangent constraint between it and the conic curve and then you can adjust the angles.
