Adding different colours to a cylindrical form

Hello!

I am designing a model of a jet engine and need the cowling to be two colours. Dark on the inside and white on the outside. It's made using the form extrude function and has had some thickness added. However I cannot find a way to split it such that the inside is grey/black and the outside is white.

I had the same issue when trying it with a simple extrude of a control point spline disc (not perfectly circular) as a test. I attached the test piece here. How do I go about applying different colours? The usual split tool dones't work. Perhaps it's split face but I can't seem to get it working correctly.

Hi

This is a surface body.

You can assign different colors/textures to individual faces of the solid bodies.

Hi,

1. thicken

2. add dark appearance to solid

3. select faces option and add white on the outside face
