Add a sketch to a curved surface

I currently have a logo created in Fusion 360 but I'd like to import that logo (sketch) into another design.  The design is a curved cup.  Any thoughts.. I've been able to add it to the design but I can't seem to get merge with the cub body.  I've used an offset plane but I can't add the imported sketch on that plane.  Any suggestions would be great.  Thank you

I am not quite sure that I catch the problem, but did you try option Insert->Decal ? I believe that sketch can't be on curved, 3D, plane.

Kind regards,
Hrvoje 🙂

Try to analize this post: Curved sketch

There is a sketch on the curved surface in this post! Have a look on the attached file.

Kind regards,

So a little more information might be helpful.

I created a cup through a revolve.  I added imbedded text using an offset plane.  This worked without a hitch.  The issue is that in another project I created a logo design.  I was trying to use the same method of creating a offset plan and copy the sketch I created "Logo" and import it on the offset plane I created.  Am I just being stupid.  It sounds like this is something I could do but I see no way to copy the sketch for another project and add it directly to only the offset plane I created.

There isn't a Copy command for sketches, however you can copy sketch geometry from one file to another.

The sketch containing the geometry needs to be in edit mode in order to start the Copy operation.

Create a sketch in the new file on the offset plane.

Paste the geometry to the new sketch.

You can copy/paste components between files, so you could also copy the component containing the sketch to the new file.
