Active Component Highlight in Browser Tree Suggestion

Hi All,

After reading many posts in the forum where users, most often beginners but

not all, have forgotten to change the Active Component I have a suggestion.

At present the Active Component has a Radio Button and the Component name

in the Browser turns grey.

While this is clearly visible, I am wondering if changing the colour of the component

name to a user selectable colour so that it highlights more clearly to users might

reduce these issues of forgetting to change it.

The Browser Tree is a bunch of light grey boxes and so this darker grey can at times get

"lost" in a busy tree. The ability to change this highlight to say bright green or for accessibility

reasons a selectable colour for colour blind people would be useful.

Being on the Autism Spectrum myself, I find that the ability to colour code stuff makes my life

much easier.

Cheers

Andrew

I wonder if having the active component also listed in feature dialog boxes wouldn't also help with this issue?  in the extrude dialog for example there could be an additional pull down box under the operation box that defaults to the active component, and allows changing it from there.
