A way to merge existing Drawings together?

Anonymous

I have a bunch of drawings that were each created as separate drawings, each with 1 sheet.  I did not know that creating multiple Sheets in a Drawing was a possibility at the time and subsequently created many separate, 1 sheet drawings that took quite a bit of time because of all the measurements and annotations.

All the drawings are related to and reference the same Design within the same Project.

Is there a method or process that allows me to consolidate all the individual drawings into a single Drawing with multiple Sheets?

Similar to how a PDF editor or PDF print driver can append a page, document, or sheet to an existing PDF to create a single growing chain.

Maybe something like a Drawing merge function?

Or even a way to select everything in a Drawing Sheet like [Ctrl + a] and then Copy -> Paste into another Drawing?

Many thanks

I know this is an outdated reply. Maybe you figured it out by now.

Just to comment on your way of creating drawing. If it's a large model and you only want to show a couple parts. The way I do it, I don't even use the add page in the drawing workspace. I would go to my model and select what parts I want on a single sheet, right click and create drawings.

And even better; if you create a template. Fusion will do each part individually on each sheet. Example: if you have a model with 40 different components, it will put the model on the first page & add 40 sheets for each individual part.

With all this said, I do agree Fusion needs to provide a way to copy drawing from on model to the next!

Figured I would bump this old topic.  Was just searching for a way to combine my drawings assuming such simple functionality would be in an expensive program.  Pretty disappointing to find this has been requested since 2017 and still not implemented

Just googled how to do this and came upon the thread.  Ridiculous this isn't a feature in a program as expensive as Fusion is given that this has been talked about for the past 8 years.  Surely it's not that hard to add.

Hard to believe this issue hasn't been dealt with yet. I also find it to be a gross oversight that you cannot simply move details from one page to another.

So I have been making assembly plans for products and just making separate sheets/files for each page of the plans.  Realized that I could just make the plans as one file by making a drawing from my animation and instead of making a new sheet for each new page I could add it to an existing file as an added sheet.  Excellent Discovery.

Figured that would keep down on having multiple tabs open for drawings since fusion seems to crash and get really bogged down with multiple projects open, even single drawing sheets.

Thought hell, I should merge my older drawing into single files so when I go to make adjustments to assembly plans for a product I wouldn't have to open a ton of tabs and risk crashing Fusion...and low and behold...found this thread from 2017.  So it's 2026 and we still can't merge the files.
