3D Sketch, how do I draw lines along axis without the point always wanting to stick to body surfaces?

In just about every example of 3D sketching there are no other bodies in the viewport to clutter your ability to draw lines. But in the real world this is never the case, and it in fact makes 3d sketch completely unusable.

In software like blender you can extrude lines and hit X,Y or Z to restrict the extrusion to a global or local coordinate. Does this function exist in fusion for 3D sketch? How are you guys using it with only proximity based gesture controls? There has to be a better way...

Avoid 3d sketches in Fusion, use many 2d sketches, Fusion doesn't care how many.

Not all the normal Fusion tools are compatible with 3d sketches.

Comparing to software I don't use is ....

What are you making, and why does it need a 3d sketch?

If software can hide the clutter, why not use it?

Might help...

Pipes, 3D pipes, 3D sweep guides, 3D loft guides, I am sure I could find many more complex usecases if the tool was easier to use.

So you are saying there is no solution and that fusion needs to work to better the control over drawing lines in 3D?

If that is the case then 3D pipes and all the usecases I listed above are very tedious in its current state as I have come to find out.

Avoid does not mean eliminate.

Your published image was purely straight lines, which work well in 2d sketches, can be as you say annoying in a 3d sketch.

For 3D pipes, 3D sweep guides, 3D loft guides I don't draw these as 3d freehand articles, they are constructed with Include 3d Geometry in a 3d sketch.

Sounds like you don't have a solution.

There are special programs for pipeline construction. However, if the requirements are not too high, you can also use Fusion. I think Fusion can certainly do this better than Blender.

As @davebYYPCU  has already recommended, I also use 2D sketches first.

This is followed by a 3D sketch.

Can you File>Export an example assembly *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

Definitely a tedious task but Ill accept this as a method of doing it if I want to have the least amount of hassle using the 3d sketch pathing. Its just really slow for making mockup wire pathing for the internals of my devices. Ill need hundreds of points.

If you could spare me the passive aggressive tone I might take your answers more seriously.
