3D print wheel arch - complex path sweep with multiple deforms

Hi,

I am very new to Fusion.
As a first project I'd like to create a real wheel arch cover (see image q2). The base object is a profile sweep along a path - I got this.
On two parts I am not sure what the best approach is:
1)
the arch gets smaller towards the front. image q2. purple line ~35mm, green line ~30mm. with the sweep, can i modify / scale  / shorten one specific sketch line along the path (image q1, red line)? the rest of the profile should stay identical, i only need to shrink that line around 5mm.
2)

the rear of the arch morphs towards the door panel geometry. should i use :
a) a new sweep (path and profile)
b) could i use a guide rail for that?
c) can i leave the full arch and use solid to deform the sweep?

Maybe you have a tip or can guide me to the right direction.
Thanks a lot

Sliding the outside wall up to the 30 dimension, changes thickness in that area, creating all sorts of options to the profile change.  So if accepting the construction line profile as this is, you would need to transfer the original profile to the other end of the Sweep Path.

Then you can Solid > Loft with your path as a centre line rail.  Will be a slow taper from end to end.

Might help...

Thanks, I'll try that. I understood the loft feature differently. Then I could probably also make a third profile for the yellow area.

If it were me, I would model the guard first,

then you can run the loft with extracted profiles, and exact rails.  A flat centre line rail is a limitation.

Hi @mailNMFAF ,

Hope you are doing good! I wanted to follow up and see if you were able to try davebYYPCU 's suggested approach. Did it help with your model. We look forward to hearing from you.
