When making a 2D model out of a 3D component, is there any way of making the background a different color other than white? I tried inserting an image of blank blueprint paper and sizing that to cover the whole space but when I put the base view and projected views on the sheet they were under the inserted image of the blueprint and not visible. Is there a way to attach these base views to the inserted image? As seen in the attached images they are only visible when highlighted.

Thanks in advanceblueprint background.PNG

Hi @whittakerdw,
That looks great you tired all the way to find a solution.
The current option you tried with image won't allow you the see the views the way you are expecting,
because we do not have option that control visibility of foreground n background objects, this is the reason view appears only when highlighted.
Coming back to original question: "making the background a different color other than white"
This is widely asked question by many user, we will raise this question to product management team as a high want.

So what is the solution now? I actually need a background image. I even tried putting it on the frame (edit frame) but even then the image is in front of the views which is... (sorry) stupid.

What's my use case? I have to include the original land register map and wanted to use the views from Fusion360 to easily get the outline of my house without having to redraw it in another tool. Which I'll have to do now, but then I have to do this again each time the outline of my house changes. 😞Unbenannt.PNG
