2D Contour error message

Doing a simple 2D Contour around a block and I'm getting this warning:

Warning: Lifting feed plane to topmost lead height.

Any insight as to what I look for to resolve this?

In the Heights Tab; I don't see any reference to "Lifting Feed Plane".

CAM will run without clearing this warning but I'd like to learn what it means so I can avoid it in the future.

I appreciate the assistance.

If your feed height is the top of your model but the lead in for your tool path has a helical or vertical radius that would be above the model when it started with that will cause that error. In other words you’re telling it to start feeding at the top of the model but in order to satisfy your lead in requirements it has to move that plane higher.

Hi,

I recommend you post this in the CAM forums : https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/fusion-360-computer-aided/bd-p/2070

You will get a faster answer there

@tracy.hille  cam questions should be asked in the cam section, What also helps is if you attach the model to your post so a more accurate answer can be given as the errour is in your file
