Hello @BrianEkins ,
I have tried to display webpage using palette. I can view the webpage but unfortunately I cannot properly interact with the content because the version of the QT web browser that Fusion uses is outdated (that is if that is the only problem I'm experiencing 🙂 )
I have searched for the currently used version in Fusion by taking a look at the DLLs and if I'm not mistaken it is 6.2.4.0. The latest released version of QT library is 6.6 so it seems that Fusion is running on relatively old version.
I later noticed that Fusion probably uses the QT as its GUI library so I understand this is a long process but my question is if there are any plans to update the library to a newer version?
I've found a way to display web pages in palettes or their equivalents in products like Revit, Inventor or Civil using WebView2 and all work without an issue but since Fusion is written in C++ this is naturally not applicable.
QT library would seem like the best option here but since Fusion itself uses it, having 2 versions of the same library would probably cause DLL conflict at some point and would not allow me to use palette as a control which is a pity.
Thank you,
if I failed to realize something that's preventing me from viewing the webpage properly I'm sorry.
