Unexpected error while reinstalling

Anonymous
Not applicable

I just downloaded Fusion 360 and started using it but i realized that it wouldnt let me log in to my account and i wasnt able to save my designs, so i tried to fix the issue and somehow i managed to erase some files from this directory:

C:\Users\name\AppData\Local\Autodesk

and i completely made the problem bigger cause i couldnt uninstall the software due to missing files.

An now i try to reinstall Fusion and i get an unexpected error that says:

Please attach the file C:\Users\name\AppData\Local\Autodesk\autodesk.webdeploy.streamer.log

And i have no idea how to fix the problem.

I've already done all this and still wont uninstall

Manually clear remaining program files:
          1. Launch Windows Explorer.
          2. Navigate to: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Autodesk
          3. Delete the following folders:
              - Autodesk Fusion 360 (if present)
              - Web Services
              - Webdeploy (if present)
              - production (if present)
              - Neutron Platform (if present)
          4. Next, navigate to: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Common
           5. Delete the following folders:
              - Material Library
              - DB Manager
              - Exchange Archives
          6. Next, navigate to: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Temp
          7. Delete the following folders:
              - Autodesk
              - proteinrun
              - Neutron
          8. Now navigate to C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk
          9. Ensure the following folders have been deleted. If they haven’t, manually delete them.
              - Autodesk Fusion 360
              - MC3
              - Neutron Platform
              - NINVFUS
              - Synergy
         10. Next navigate to C:\Program Data\Autodesk
         11. Ensure the following folders have been deleted. If they haven’t, manually delete them.
             - Autodesk Fusion 360
             - MC3
             - Neutron
             - NINVFUS

Hello Rodrigo,

The log file you posted seems to indicate difficulty establishing a connection to our servers, and the troubleshooting steps you found do not usually address that issue.

It's odd, in fact, that an install completed earlier, but now you are seeing this issue.   Are you connected to a different network now (at home instead of at work, or vice versa?) if so, can you try again from the original location?

If that does not help, or is not an option, one other thing that has helped users with similar issues in the past is to make sure the computer is current on all windows updates.

Also, I will PM you a link that can be used to help us gather more information on your connection.

Thanks,

Steven
