Undesired behaviour of ADDIN window in Fusion 360 in last version

When users open the addin-window now, and stop an addin from running, and then click to RUN it again, this closes the addin-window.

This behaviour is extremely undesirable as you would want to see if the addin actually started or not.

Please fix this asap.

No, as I do not use that code editor. I am not talking about editor, i am talking about the run window.
At the very least, let users CHOOSE how the behavior should be.

Previously, the dialog would remain displayed when editing, which was very disturbing.
This was because when the dialog was still displayed, script execution from the editor would stop.
After the update, the dialog disappears when the editor is launched. I wanted to say that I do not want that behavior back.

But you do not edit the scripts inside Fusion 360.

You use an external editor. It is more annoying to have to open it time and time again to check if it correctly started the addin or not...

It is fine the window closes when you open an editor, but it should not close for ENABLING an ADDIN...it is just ruining the user experience.
