Server Certificate Validation error and Update Error while fusion 360 launches

Hi

I have an issue with fusion 360 on my windows 10 Desktop PC

When I launch Fusion I get 2 notification, one saying error validating certificate and one about error during update "check log file for info"

I tried my startup account on another PC with windows 7 and there was not such an issue.

I attached an image of the messages.

Any advice?

Hello,

It would be great if you can share installation log "autodesk.webdeploy.streamer.log" to us for investigation. Please follow the link as below how to locate the log file.

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How...

In addition, please go to right-top corner -> your account -> Preferences -> Network and check if there is any setting difference between your Win10 and Win7 machines.

Thanks,

Marshal

I attached my log file.

Also in the network settings it is the same on both. If I choose on my windows 10 pc "do not warn when accessing through an intermidiate server" in the server verification option, I do not get the server validation error, only the update error.

And something else I found out is that if I try to download a material in the appearance menu I get an error that there is an ongoing update and doesn't let me download the material, while on the windows 7 PC materials got downloaded normally.

Hello,

The error information in streamer log told the OS was not supported. I am not sure if there are any special thing in your machine? I cannot reproduce the issue in Win10. It would be great if you can collect OS system version information for investigation.

Please go to https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/psinfo and download small tool "PsInfo.exe". It is free tool developed by Microsoft. Then please run the tool in command line and post the result in the thread.

Thanks,

Marshal

I tried reinstalling fusion360 and it seems to work fine at the moment. I will monitor it and see how it plays out. 🙂
