Script to crash fusion

So this script:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2xC0dwhhLGIOGY4eVVxWFdhUUU/view?usp=sharing

If you call

  var app = adsk.core.Application.get()

  ScalaSamples().rotateSketch(app)

In a document where you have at least one sketch, it'll crash Fusion just about every time it runs. (Some sample crash reports are:

CER_110726045

CER_110725895
CER_110726331
CER_110726338)

Hello,

I cannot reproduce the issue with the steps you provided. However I found it was known issue in our internal system(I mentioned that in another thread). We can see the simiar crash with different reproducible steps from yours. I have asked our development team treat the issue as high priority and make an investigation as soon as possible.

Thank you for reporting the issue to us.

Thanks,

Marshal

Got it.  I had thought that was fixed already and that this was a new issue - sounds like that's not the case. I'm a bit surprised that the bug wasn't a show-stopper for the last release.

Hello,

You are right. The kind of issues are usually a show-stopper for current release. Unfortunately it was too late for last release to disclose the issue:(. The development cycle is ahead of release cycle. So we move it forward.

Thank you for understanding.

Thanks,

Marshal

Hello,

I would like to share some updates from our development team.

There were total 5 reports you mentioned in two threads. It seemed that they were two separate issues: one issue was CER_110726045 and CER_110725895, another one was CER_110726331, CER_110726338 and CER_108820653(mentioned in another thread). We did reproduce the second issue and are finding a solution to solve it. For the first issue, we need more information to reproduce. Do you remember any differences when you ran into the two issues? Any clue would be helpful for us to analyze the issue.

Thanks,

Marshal

Here's another one - CER_111018080 from tonight..

For this one, I did try debugging a few times (3, maybe). Some single stepping, step out of a method, that kind of thing. I'll try to come up with a more specific repro case, but I probably won't be able to for a few days.

Hello,

Thank you for the information.

I checked the new crash report. It was the same with the ones you have reported. Our engineering team is working on those issues.

Thanks,

Marshal
