"New Scripts and Add-Ins" preview feature unavailable

Not sure if this is the right place to ask about this, but.... I do not see the option for the "New Scripts and Add-Ins Dialog" on the preview features tab of the preferences dialog. All I have available is "Enable UI Themes" and "Enhanced Selection Experience". Maybe this is a MacOS issue? Not sure. I did just do the upgrade to Fusion teams or whatever that's called. Maybe I need to do another couple restarts for things to update.

Current version: Fusion 2.0.21487 arm64 [Native] (MacOS)

^ This is newer than the version listed in the last "What's New" blog entry.

Note: This does not block my work in any way, but it would be nice to use the new dialog because it looks pretty.

I'm not familiar with that upcoming new feature, but fwiw, I'm on Windows 11 Fusion 2.0.21487 x86_64 and don't have that in my preview features list. I don't have the "Enable UI Themes" option, just "Enhanced Selection Experience". So maybe they're a/b testing?

That's an insider preview feature. Are you a member of the insider program?

That's probably why you don't see that feature.

You can sign up here.  Fusion Insider

Thanks for the insight @dames123. The API docs didn't mention that it was a preview feature oddly enough.

EDIT: Ignore the below. I had to change my actual username for this to work. I had assumed that display name meant my First and Last name and not my username.

When I try to become an insider, I get the following error message:
"""

Your sign-in attempt was not successful

Choose a different display name, then try again.

You shouldn't need to be an insider to access that preview feature. Insider's had access to it first because they had early access to the January release, but everyone should have it now. If not, there's something wrong.

I was mistaken. It seems all preview features are only available to those in the Insider program. I asked a developer at Autodesk about this, and they were surprised, too, because they had hoped this would be available to everyone to start working with and providing feedback. They did tell me about a workaround you can use to access the new dialog.

In the TEXT COMMAND window, with the option on the right set to "Txt", enter "apidebug.scriptsdialog".
