No "Project to Surface" in the API?

Hey,

i looked into the API and didnt find the API equivalent to the "Project to Surface" command, which is available through the gui.

Is this correct, that i can´t "Project to Surface" with the scripting interface?

Unfortunately, you're correct and this is not currently supported by the API.  However the design is fished and the implementation work is already on our backlog so it's just a matter of when it can be done, which I don't know at this point.
