Need to engrave multiple labels in fusion 360 with consecutive numbers

I need to engrave  lots of labels with consecutive numbers in fusion 360. I received a dxf with auto desk script with all the labels but cannot convert it to something I can use in fusion. Lars has advised that the auto desk script doesn’t work in fusion and I could possibly get a answer here.

Can anyone help please ?

Thanks in advance

I just finished a project that sounds very similar, so what you want to do should be possible.  From your description, it's not clear what you're starting with and what you need to accomplish.  Are the labels defined as text?  Are you using the CAM functionality in Fusion to create toolpaths to drive a machine to engrave the labels?  How is the text of the labels defined, from a spreadsheet or other file?  What's expected as output, a posted file for each label that you can use for CNC?

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.

Im starting with the labels drawn with borders in auto desk on a large sheet. So 140 per 1600x2200mm. The text is like a serial number with the next label counting up numerically. The format is simple for engraving as it only has text and the company logo which has been simplified to be engraved on the line in fusion 360 cam with the 2D engraving option and later posted to a cnc router.  However the auto desk script text isn’t supported in fusion. (I’m not sure if the label text was generated from a spreadsheet).

I have the label file as a dxf and it does not load up in fusion. I’m left with the borders and some scattered lines.

If you can advise from your previous experience in your recent project it would be appreciated.

Thanks for your help

I'm still not clear on what you have.  You refer to using "auto desk".  I'm assuming you mean AutoCAD.  The native format for AutoCAD is a DWG file.  It can also export DXF files.  Fusion is able to read in both of those but I haven't done very much with that and don't know the limitations.  If there is some limitation preventing you from importing the data you need into Fusion, you'll need to re-create the data in Fusion.  It sounds like it's very repetitive so it may not be very difficult to re-create.
