I am nesting small and often complicated wooden puzzle parts into stripes of (exotic) wood.
To save wood I nest the parts by hand as close as possible making sure, to have enough room for the milling tool in between.
It would be of great help, if the MOVE would show an offset line around the selected component. The offset could be a user parameter, for example 2.5mm for a 2mm tool.
The offset line(sketch?) should be temporary as long as the move is active.
I have done some scripting but have no idea how to realise my wish.
Any hints would be great.
