Gear generator not making gears

So I'm trying to design a gear with the spur gear generator that is in the scripts and add in library and comes with fusion 360. The problem is every time I try to generate a gear I'm left with just a bunch of mumbo jumbo on the screen that looks more like a ring of balls than anything else. I've used this add in in the past and it worked just fine now I'm stumped.

There are several gear generator add-ins available on the Autodesk App Store, so you may want to consider using those.
