Creating Workspaces and ToolbarTabs

I want to create a custom toolbar tab for an add-in, however I can't find any information in the docs on how to do this. It is possible to create a new workspaces entirely [1], which leads be to believe it must also be possible to create tabs in a workspace. 

In the workspace object, there is a toolbarTabs property [2] which returns the collection of existing toolbar tabs, however it's immutable. 

Apologies if i'm missing something stupid, I have very little experience with python.

Thank you for posting your query. At the moment there is no API which allows to create a new tab in a workspace. We are working on it and will update the documentation once they are available in production.
