I'm trying to download GT2 Timing Pulley Generator but I keep getting a message stating, 'Apple could not verify "GT2PulleyAddin_macos.pkg" is free of malware that may harm your Mac or compromise your privacy.'

Not sure what to do.

Apple has increased their security and makes it harder to override. Here's their support page that discussed this. You want to check out the "If you want to open an app that hasn’t been notarized or is from an unidentified developer" section near the end of the page.

This worked for me, thank you. It was a little confusing at first. I had to try installing the file by opening it, then after I selected  "done" after receiving the security message was I able to see the app appear as an option to open app anyway under the Privacy and Security section referenced in the Apple support article.

I had downloaded the file last week and the app wouldn't showing up as an option initially, until I tried opening it first, as I mentioned before.
