Timeline slider obscures component colours

My timeline slider is so big that it obscures almost the entirety of the component colours.  Finding an operation according to colour has become impossible.  Is a slider this big normal?  Surely not.

Hi Nick, what do you mean by too big? too many features shown? or it's just this part that looks grey?

I think I will state obvious things, but let's see if something helps.

It looks good to me. You are currently looking at the parent component, the root I guess, which shows timeline for all components in different colors.

If you want to find a feature in a specific component it gets easier if you activate just this component.

Also, you can group features and then show just the compressed version of the group, and collapse when needed.

Renaming features is also a possibility so it's easier to find.

And some more...

PS: I usually hover mouse over features and the model highlights what it is doing.

The slider, (in grey and indicated in the attached image), sits on top of the colours which identify the component to which the actions in the timeline relate, (colours marked by the arrows).  Firstly, I wonder why the timeline obscures the colours and secondly, why is the slider so long?  It is literally impossible to see some of the colours underneath the slider.

I realise there are different ways to see which actions relate to which components in the timeline but I do wonder what is the point of having colours in the timeline if you can't see them?

Sorry, I did not get it properly in your first picture!

This does not happen to me, so I think it's worth raising a ticket.

Do you have this behavior with all your designs or just this one?

See my screenshot for comparison.Figura .54.jpg

Now I see the problem - my slider is in the wrong place! And yes, I have this problem with all my designs.

Hi,

I see in my profile under My Support Cases that this case, ID 14830289, has status 'Closed - Cancelled' and yet my timeline still does not function as intended.

Any help would be appreciated.

FWIW, I shutdown and restarted, set Windows 10 display to 100%, (was previously set automatically to 125), reinstalled and restarted Fusion and hey presto, no more obscuring of the colours by the timeline slider.

Now if only I could get the display controls to stop obscuring the timeline in Full Screen mode...
