I can't find the simulation workspace

Hello,

I'm a student and have recently downloaded Autodesk Fusion 360 (Education License). I realised that Fusion 360 offers simulations, and have searched for the Simulation Workspace on my CAD, but can't find it (apparently it should be in the same drop-down as the Model and Patch, but not on mine). Is this normal with education license? I actually have a project that I would very much like to use the simulations on, so how can I get that workspace? Any help would really be appreciated!

Hi @Anonymous,

Welcome to the Fusion 360 Community!

What do you see when you drop down those workspaces. It should be right there:

I want to follow up on this question. I applied for an educational license of Fusion 360, but in the workspace selection dropdown there are only 5 options (design, render, animation, manufacture, drawing), and no "simulation" tab is present. How could that be?

Hi @eric_fricot,

Fusion may be having trouble with 'Media Feature pack for Windows' files on the system. Could you try this?

If you're still having issues, could you try:
