How do I vertically center my sketch?

I want to align the logo (hexagon+number) to the vertical center of the plate (below). How can I do this? I've managed to align it horizontally. But I can't figure out how to align it vertically. When I try to use the MidPoint constraint I get an error message

> Failed to solve. Please try revising dimensions or constraints.

here's one way.  I'm not quite sure why the construction line detaches from the polygon, so it needed 2 operations, but I think this is correct:
