Chamfer geometry seems off

I've been designing a trivet, based on one I had previously made in a different software. despite modeling it in what I think is the correct way, the chamfer geometry seems to be extending beyond where it should, as if it is following some other path.

Here is the link to the public project, and a screenshot of the strange error. Any idea why the chamfer geometry isn't constrained correctly in those tight corners?

Hey @alexwbakker,

I looked your file, and to me it seems like the chamfer geometry is generating as it should. Since you're using a larger chamfer value with a very acute angle between the two adjacent faces, the geometry required to blend the two features together is longer than you might imagine. However, if you use a smaller dimension, it should work fine.

Let me know if that works for you!
