Tool Library Crashing? Update Graphics Drivers!

Hi MFG forum folks!

We've had some recent reports of the tool library crashing or causing Fusion to crash. The good news is all cases have been solved so far by updating graphics drivers!

If you're seeing this behavior, please follow the steps in this help documentation to ensure your graphics drivers are up to date.

If you're still seeing poor behavior or crashing after updating, don't hesitate to let us know.

iam tring to gererate my first tool path, 2 d lathe turning. and i dont have a tool library to choose from. not able to add tools, name tools, nothing. is this fixable? what am i dooing wrong?

@systrucks is your tool library crashing on you?

Can you share a screenshot of what you see in your tool library?

Are you trying to create a library of turning tools, or are you trying to create a tool for the current open document?

We are having the same issue we have updated to latest graphic drivers etc  we are getting that webgl is not enabled at the top

and it crashes if you press any tool or library on the side

hi @rogerUKU85, the team has identified this issue and is working on identifying a fix! For now, the way to remove the error is to turn off the 3D Preview FF in Preferences . give that a try and let us know how it goes

It kinda works but not 100% cant see the tools in my program theres nothing under documents can only see and edit tools in the libraries

I'm also having the same issue. When I right click and select edit tool, I get a system error. I had to start over from the beginning on a part because of this.

Does this document have a machine asset in it? If so, this has been reported and a hot fix is on the way.

Yep,  have the same problem.....    i cannot select any tools if there at the top of the list. 

Very Very annoying when i need to get parts made, with limited time left....

What do you mean by "cannot select any tools"? Are you crashing, or are they not showing up?

I was unable to select any tools at the top of my list.

I turned off the 3d preview that was miss programmed causing the issue.

Do the programmers not check things when they mess about??

Yes, very much so. However, there are so many possible combinations of hardware and software that we cannot possibly cover all bases. There have been many bugs over the years that have been a downright pain to reproduce and fix, simply because they were unique to a certain combination of events.

Yes, i can now select tools at the top of my tool list. before the top 2 or 3 were visible but unable to be selected because of the window shown in message 4.
