Hey everyone,
So I've got a part where I am unsure how to get a smooth toolpath from Fusion. If you look at the green section from the picture below (I also attached a part file), how would you program it and what operations would you use?
I am starting to have my doubts that it might not even be possible in Fusion due to wrap toolpath limitations. The plan is to make it on a 4 axis live tool lathe.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I think you might struggle to do this with wrap toolpath however if you are willing to try out new features early we have a new 4-axis strategy called rotary which might be able to help. @al.whatmough has given some instructions in this post: https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/fusion-360-manufacture/new-update-new-hidden-features-to-try/m-p/8965...
A note of caution this is the early release of a strategy which is still under heavy development and is likely to see significant improvements and changes.

Hi @5X-machines Thank you for trying it out! I am sorry to hear that Rotary failed to generate for you unfortunately it is still in development. I have created an internal ticket to look into the error you saw.
If it wouldn't be too much trouble could I ask what operating system and version you are using as this might help us track down exactly what the problem is and make sure that it works for you in future versions.
Talking to my colleagues we suspect it could be related to Distributed CAM if you are using that.
