CNC position to zero

Hi,

KGzH5fkEJh.png

I have 1 big building instruction. And I want all parts to CNC separate. All parts are 2d Contour.

But after setting up 1 part, the enitre plan is the stock now. And all references are relative to that stock

What do I have to change so the job starts at X0 Y0?

Couple of things;

1) You should be creating a Setup and selecting only the bodies that you are going to machine in that given setup

2) You'll likely not see "X0 Y0" in your program, but it will be close to it, depending on where you set your WCS

So, the only option is to give every object it's own setup?

No, not one body per Setup, but only as many bodies as you intend to cut.

I want every body to have it's own cutting speed (depending on the type of wood). And I want to be able to machine every object on it's own. Not 5 or 10 objects in 1 time (job)

K so a set up defines a zero point and the direction of the axes.

A tool path defines which body you want to machine.  It also defines the tools feeds and speeds

An nc program contains one or more tool paths

so one set up, multiple tool paths, nc program with one or more tool path

Oops bodies are defined in set up. So multiple set ups
So zero maybe the same for all setups or per each set up your choice
