working with layers would be nice.Its easier to hide and unhide parts that are on different layers.

You can [sort of] do this now by creating separate components for each «layer» and then activate the one you want to use.

You can create seletion sets containg different componets in differnt part of your design. Then you can hide/unhid all of the elected parts.
